About this site
The materials on this website posted before 18th of August 2013 are based on the Philosophy, Principles and Practices of Natural Hygiene and were originally published as a course consisting of 106 lessons called The Life Science Health System by T.C. Fry.
The Life Science Health System is vast compilation of knowledge by various authors and was intended to prepare the student for a career as a Natural Hygiene Health Consultant.
Hi, my name is Jessie Wilson and I am the owner of RawFoodExplained.com. I believe this site to be an invaluable resource for those looking to learn about the true nature of disease, the harmfulness of foods like meat, dairy, and grains, and the value of fresh fruits and vegetables.
That said, I do not agree with everything T.C. Fry and the other authors have written as part of this course. For instance, in Lesson 5.3: Physiological Criteria Foods Must Meet, Fry states:
“For millions of years humans subsisted solely, exclusively and only on fruits.”
This is false. There is no evidence that our ancestors ever ate fruit alone.
Here’s another example from Lesson 11.6: The Use of Fats in the Optimum Diet:
“Although no specific amounts of these foods are recommended, it should be noted that many practitioners of Natural Hygiene suggest that no more that three to four ounces of nuts or seeds be eaten daily or no more than one avocado.”
I suggest much less than this, about 1-2 ounces of nuts/seeds or 1/2 of one Hass avocado per day.
Go raw and be fit,
